We are looking for a dedicated Application Support Engineer to join our growing team in Belapur, Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a good understanding of SQL and Linux, and the ability to support business-critical applications in a fast-paced environment.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in IT application support for banking and financial clients, ensuring high system uptime and smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:-
As an Application Support Engineer, you will:
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support enterprise applications.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Execute SQL queries to validate data and perform backend analysis.
- Work with the Linux environment for server and application-level troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for application maintenance and deployments.
- Provide timely and accurate incident updates, adhering to SLAs.
- Be available for 24×7 rotational shifts as per project requirements.
Must-Have Skills:-
To excel in this position, you should have:
- Good understanding of SQL queries and database concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Linux commands and system operations.
- Hands-on experience or exposure to Application Support processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to work in a 24×7 support model.
Good-to-Have Skills:-
- Knowledge or experience in the Banking Domain.
- Exposure to ticketing tools, incident management, or L1/L2 support.
- Basic scripting knowledge for automation and monitoring.
