About the Role

As a WebLogic Administrator, you will play a crucial part in managing middleware platforms that power mission-critical applications. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle WebLogic Server across development, testing, and production environments.
• Manage domains, clusters, JDBC data sources, JMS, and security configurations.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to maintain system availability.
• Apply patches, perform backups, and implement disaster recovery strategies.
• Automate administrative tasks using Shell, Python, or WLST scripts for greater efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams for smooth deployments and ongoing support.
• Document configurations, version changes, and best practices.
• Ensure all environments comply with enterprise security standards.
• Provide on-call support and participate in scheduled maintenance as needed.

Must-Have Skills

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a WebLogic Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server installation, configuration, and tuning.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting Java EE applications.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Shell, Python, or WLST.
• Good understanding of networking, SSL, load balancing, and security.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Oracle WebLogic certification (OCA/OCP).
• Experience with middleware technologies such as Apache, Tomcat, or JBoss.
• Knowledge of database administration (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Education

B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
